Despite Dodge's tendency to change its color codes during the 1970s, the very notorious "FM3" code,
exclusively available for the 1970 model year and referred to as Moulin Rouge for Plymouth and Panther Pink
for Dodge, was never reintroduced. According to pantherpink.com, there were a few peculiar 1971 model year
automobiles with the FM3 code paint, albeit these are highly uncommon early-build vehicles. In 2010, Dodge reintroduced a comparable hue called 'Furious Fuchsia' as a paint option for the SRT8 and R/T Challenger
models, although only in limited quantities. However, the Demon 170, particularly in its Hemi V8-powered
version, is said to be an exact replica of the original FM3 code paint and a suitable tribute to the early and final stages of the Challenger.
